"I am a mother of 4 beautiful boys. Two of my boys are affected by autism. And although they are on different ends of the autistic spectrum they have both benefited since Applied Behavior Center for Autism has come into our lives. Logan who has no speech is now learning to sign!!! He is starting to communicate with the world. He now tells me what he wants to eat or drink instead of having tantrums until I guess what he wants. He is playing with toys. He is matching objects. He is even doing awesome at potty training. He went 8 times at home today and we just started 4 days ago!!! Go Logan!!! Since we started at the center people are constantly telling me that they can see a change in Logan. His brother Ricky went to Applied Behavior Center for Autism summer session and also receives in home ABA through Applied Behavior Center for Autism. Ricky learned so much and his speech has improved tremendously. He is answering questions instead of repeating everything that is said to him (something that no speech therapist could accomplish with him). The Teachers and Directors at Applied Behavior Center for Autism are amazing. I can't imagine where we would be if we had not found them. Every child with autism should have an education like this!!!!"

02. J.C. Family
Shortly after receiving a formal diagnosis for our son, we enrolled him at the ABC center for the summer session. At this time, he had one word and only a handful of word approximations. The progress he made during the four week session was amazing. He talked for the first time in 2 ½ years. Without a doubt, my husband and I knew we had to enroll him on a permanent basis. Our son has been attending the ABC center for eight months. He now tests at or above age appropriate levels on all standardized tests.

When his sibling started showing similar delays at 17 months old we immediately enrolled him. He now knows over 30 signs and attempts to say many words. The progress he has made in such a short amount of time has also been amazing.

We are so happy and thankful to the entire staff at the ABC center. Your center has been the answer to our prayers. Thanks so much!

03. D. Family
After having our autistic son in the public center system for two years and not learning anything we enrolled him in the ABC center. He can follow simple commands and he is learning sign language and doing great with it. He is a different little boy and he is happy to go to center now.

After the local public center system failed to help with our son, we started looking for an ABA structured center. Only after one month being placed with Applied Behavior Center for Autism, our son talked for the first time in three years. Within the next month our son started learning sign language, which helped relieve the lack of communication stress between him and us. We were pleased to see the staff at Applied Behavior Center for Autism interested in seeing our son progress as much as we are. Now after nine months of center our son has forty-two signs and can speak most of the words clearly. The sign language helps with communication and fine motor skills as well. All goals set by the teacher and parents have been met and we are looking forward to further progress.

We are so grateful to have found Applied Behavior Center for Autism as a placement for our child over the summer. Since the public center does not offer any significant educational programs over the summer, we were excited to have the opportunity to provide our child with an intensive ABA program during a time she would normally spend out of center. We were very pleased by the progress our child made during her 10-week stay in the program and were especially pleased by the attentiveness of the staff. By the end of the summer our child had added over 20 words to her vocabulary and was beginning to show improvements in math and reading. The teaching techniques used at Applied Behavior Center for Autism are effective and I would recommend this program to any parent who would like to see progress in their child.
